We are soliciting posters reporting on original research in all areas of computational biology. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

    • Molecular sequence analysis
    • Genomics
    • Genetics
    • Molecular evolution
    • Proteomics
    • Protein structure
    • Gene regulation
    • Gene expression

The following instructions must be followed exactly if a poster is to be accepted. Acceptance is conditional on at least one of its authors pre-registering for RECOMB 2007 electronically before March 1, 2007. Accepted poster abstracts will be published on the conference website for download and in a CD Volume of Poster Abstracts at the conference. Only titles and authors will be included in the printed program of the Poster Sessions.

Poster abstracts should be submitted online in a PDF format. Templates are available for common text editors: LaTeX, Word and PDF. Please download the template of your choice, and edit it with the appropriate software program. Make sure that during editing you preserve all formatting parameters of the original template (for example, do not remove any formatting tags in the LaTeX template). The length of the abstract should fit on two pages after conversion to pdf. Files we cannot open or which do not satisfy the format instructions will be returned.

Submission deadline February 5, 2007 at 11:59pm GMT.

  • During the submission process, check that the information submitted in different
    form fields (abstract title, authors, etc) is in agreement with the content of the abstract.
  • At least one of the authors (to be designated “the presenter”) must be pre-registered
    for the conference before March 1, 2007 to be included in the final program.
  • At least one of the poster authors must be present at the conference.
  • Space for posters is limited, and we may not be able to accept all poster submissions.
    If the number of poster abstracts exceeds the capacity, choices will be made to ensure
    that all groups who wish to participate in the poster sessions are represented.
  • There is a maximum of two posters per presenting author.
  • The size of the poster space is: Height: 1m, Width: 2m. Fasteners will be provided at
    the site, please DO NOT bring tape, tacks or pins.
